This is a remote US-based position covering the following territory: NY, NJ, PA, NH, CT. The ideal candidate will currently reside in one of these states. Role Description for Posting: This position is accountable for the selling, promotion, and growth of an industrial automation services portfolio for existing install base assets. The main offers are: Industrial Automation Equipment Life Extension (VFD, PLC's, and HMI's), Turnkey Installations, Preventive Maintenance, Service Contracts, and Direct Replacement or modernization of Variable Frequency Drives, replacement Motor Control Center Buckets and equipment repairs. Travel within the territory to meet with distributors and end users while developing new sales opportunities, pursue sales leads, and address the needs of larger accounts (commercial and industrial). This position utilizes excellent products/solutions/services skills and customer knowledge to act as a consultant for high-level customer contacts regarding customer's present and future industrial automation needs. Responsibilities: Develops sales opportunities /pipeline in new and existing accounts Identifies and contacts potential customers or prospects, either existing or new Set goals and objectives, develop sales/business plans, establish call plans and strategies, develop account profiles and execute the sales plan. Apply market and account skills necessary for dealing with specific, high-level target customers. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Schneider Electric products/solutions/services and competitor strengths, weaknesses and applications. Apply knowledge of Schneider Electric products/solutions/services to customer's needs. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, increasing account dedication, timely communication, and follow up Foster strong working relationships with Schneider Electric field office sales teams, operations team, post shipment plant contacts, and external distribution channel personnel. Lead Schneider Electric US Services Sales at defined geographies and customer segments Act as the SME for Schneider Services Offer for all internal and external customers This job might be for you if: Required: 4 Year Degree or quivalent experience Required: 3+ years technical knowledge of VFD's, starters, and motor control centers Preferred: Technical knowledge on PLC, HMI and software Knowledge of Schneider Electric, ABB, Rockwell, and Siemens motor control equipment Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com Ability to present technical solutions to end user customers Established contact and relationships with potential customers and partners Business and financial savvy. Results driven; financial acumen Expected Territorial Travel: 40-60% For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $95,000 - $130,000 per year and an additional uncapped commission. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
