Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. Job Summary: Supports in the data gathering and tracking of Renewable Volume Obligations and RINS credits. Assists in managing the Low Carbon Fuel Standard processes. Communicates changes in federal fuel quality regulations, fuel quality specifications and fuel additives. Core Responsibilities: * Assist in tracking of Renewable Volume Obligations driven by internal teams. * Responsible for daily and monthly tracking and reporting of RINS transactions. * Support internal teams for LCFS data gathering and reporting. * Develop knowledge of state and federal fuel quality regulations and assist in internal communication of impactful regulatory changes. * Understand fuel quality specifications and provide input for the development of the Fuel Quality playbook. * Assist in fuel additive sampling and testing program and track compliance. * Provide input for developing a comprehensive additive tracking database. Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Bachelor's degree in technical area such as Engineering, Applied Science or related field. * 0 - 2 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience related to the fuel industry preferred. * Ability to work independently and problem solve. * Excellent analytical, communication and people skills. * Ability to fully utilize all Microsoft Office software at the intermediate level including Excel and PowerPoint. Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. * Usually, normal office working conditions. * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. * Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
