The design-build region sales director (DBRSD) is responsible for working closely with HNTB offices, divisions, and contractor clients, and pursuing leadership to identify and win alternative delivery projects. This position requires strong contractor relationships and/or ability to develop key relationships and must be knowledgeable in driving pursuit activities. The DBRSD will be assigned as a national pursuit champion (NPC) on multiple design-build (DB) pursuits at a time, requiring organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop winning strategies while leveraging a wide array of HNTB resources. The DBRSD is a member of the DB Sales Team and reports directly to the design-build sales officer (DBSO). The DBRSD works closely with and manages the regional DB strategic pursuits director. The DBRSO must be available to travel as required. What You'll Do: * Provides input and insight to the DBSO during the strategic planning process. * Works with DBSO to develop sales goals and drive strategies to achieve those goals. * Partners with geographic division (GD) DB principals to assess opportunities and participate in coordination calls and pursuit prioritization activities. * Participates in contractor evaluations to identify preferred contractor for individual pursuits and in subsequent DB Contractor Risk Assessment. * Leads contractor teaming discussions, including development of materials and preparation for contractor meetings. * Serves as point of contact for office leaders and GD leadership regarding contractor outreach and pursuits. * Ensures that pursuits adhere to our sales processes. * Participates in and/or facilitate key pursuit meetings, including meetings where our contractor partner is involved. * Possesses knowledge of teaming agreements and design services contracts; and may participate in terms discussions. * Performs as DB national pursuit champion (NPC) as needed/required; NPC provides corporate leadership to proposal development and delivery to ensure the greatest possibility of success. * Participates in and/or lead national contractor client service teams. * Participates in and/or develop approach to HNTB's participation in industry events (e.g., Moles, Beavers, DBIA, AAAE, AGC, ARTBA). * Performs other duties as assigned.
