About the Position
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is hiring for multiple tenure-track positions at all ranks. The priority areas for this year’s search are: (1) Theoretical Foundations of Computer Science, (2) Wireless Networking and Networked Systems, and (3) Natural Language Processing. Exceptional candidates in all other areas of computer science will also be considered.
Successful candidates will have an outstanding academic record and are expected to establish a vigorous, funded research program, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and be involved in service to the University and the profession. This position is available at multiple levels depending on the candidate’s past experience.
Qualifications
Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment. For full consideration, please apply by December 1, 2024; however, review of applications will continue until the positions are filled.

Pay & Benefits
Pay Range: Depending on education/qualifications/experience: PENDING
Assistant Professor: $120,000 - $140,000
Associate Professor: $130,000 - $150,000
Full Professor: $140,000 - $200,000
Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment
