Summary Sewing Machine Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines and their related parts. This position requires willingness to learn the use of various equipment and different sewing techniques. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Production sewing. * Operate and maintain sewing machines and related parts. * Exhibit willingness to learn use of various equipment and sewing techniques. * Willingness to perform duties at various workstations. * Inspect and repair finished products as needed and make machine adjustments to compensate for errors or quality issues. * Report to Sewing Operations Team Lead for daily production tasks. * Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards. * All other duties assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Education Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred, but not required. Experience Requirements Sewing experience preferred, but not required. Qualifications * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
