The successful candidate will work in the Quantum Condensed Matter Theory group of Prof. Jörn Venderbos, focused on research areas which include-but are not limited to-topological quantum materials, 2D materials and heterostructures, strongly correlated electron systems, complex electronic ordering phenomena, and unconventional superconductors. A close collaboration with experimental research groups both in the Physics Department and the Department of Materials Science & Engineering is anticipated.
