SUMMARY This position is to maximize room revenues through effective and collaborative yield management practices. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The position requires the ability to perform the following essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices. Manages all rate programs and coordinates related data distribution to all 3rd party revenue partners and hotel team members. Identify new revenue opportunities. Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting. Provide weekly web conference presentations outlining strategy, performance, and trends. Optimize and expand distribution partnerships. Act as overall business development consultant for the hotel manager/owner. Challenge and influence hotel to improve service level and operational standards. Build and maintain strong working relationships with levels of staff at the client hotel. Represent the hotel in maintaining existing business relationships and in working directly with the sales & catering sales team in soliciting new corporate and group related business through the direct sales of room nights, food and beverage, and our meeting facilities to corporations, businesses and individuals through internal and external sales efforts. Manage relationships with NSH and other related properties and sales associates through the efficient use of the sales and property related data management systems. Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modeling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts. Prepares reports as needed to ensure an informative database for decision making. Prepares proper follow-up and/or forecasts to aid in yield management strategy. Assists in preparation of annual budget; assures department operates within approved budget. Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel. Keeps immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Position may be offered (Based) in another of our property markets, including Corvallis, Oregon, Kennewick, WA, or Lewiston, ID.
