Hope Haven is an accredited resource for disability services and advocacy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1 Manage the Hope Haven International Ministries office. 2 Logistical coordination. Schedule shipping along with completing required customs and governmental paperwork. 3 Support, coordinate, and help train volunteers working in HHIM. 4 Coordinate and lead trips for mission teams and staff while following HHIM guidelines. 5 Wheelchair production and refurbishing processes, we will teach. 6 Quality control processes for wheelchairs. 7 Assist with supply chain and inventory processes. 8. Some clerical duties. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Requires the physical ability to sit for long periods of time. 2. Requires the physical ability to occasionally lift wheelchairs lifting a minimum 60 lbs. Assist with loading containers by lifting QUALIFICATIONS: * Pleasant and cooperative attitude. * Ability to follow up and communicate effectively with volunteers and co-workers is a must. Some public speaking. * High moral standards and ethical practices; willing to commit themselves without reservation to the stated Christian purpose of the agency. * Computer literate or have basic computer knowledge especially with Word and Excel. * Strong organizational and administrative abilities. * Possess a valid Class D driver's license. Is an insurable driver with our insurance company.  Able to obtain a DOT card. * Clearance from all applicable background checks as required by service standards. * Willing to supervise inmates and complete training with the South Dakota DOC. * Mechanical and wheelchair knowledge. * Good communication (verbal and written), organizational and leadership skills * Ability to pass a health assessment at time of hire and ability to maintain up to date health assessment as requested per regulations. * Reliable Transportation.
