Job Summary The Divisional Director of Engineering is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of all physical facilities within the organization.# Ensures that The Children#s Hospital of Alabama (COA) is maintained at appropriate operational standards and meets all code and safety requirements. Identify cost effective systems needed to support the business operation of the hospital and develop, lead and manage effective working relationships with all employees, venders and staff.#Also includes oversight and responsibility of all construction activities at COA. # Education Bachelor#s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.# Masters preferred in related field but not required.# Years of experience in facilities management may replace degree requirements. # Experience # 10 years experience in facilities maintenance in healthcare setting or healthcare construction management. Knowledge and experience in building systems, maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
