Job Description: Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles. The volunteer program requires a six-month commitment - with a minimum of one 3-hour shift per week, exceptions being for vacation or illness. We're looking for individuals that can be here consistently. We depend on our volunteers because you truly do make a difference. This is an unpaid position that gives you the opportunity to use your talents, meet new people and experience the pleasure that comes from making a difference in people's lives. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to serve in such areas as: * Guest/ Greeter Services - Engaging with individuals consistently, helping them find their way within the facility and to their appointments, receive donations. * Donation Volunteer-Help with the intake, unpacking and organizing of donations. * Gift Shop Assistant - assisting customers with their purchases, pricing items, and using the cash register * Lobby Musician-Piano, Violin, Harp, etc. * Kids Crew-- Staff the in-patient/outpatient playrooms, assist child life specialists, take around the hospitality cart * Food Pantry-assist in our in-hospital food pantry, stock shelves, greet families QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be at least 16 years of age * Able to work alone and independently * Have good communication and listening skills * Ability to follow instructions * Ability to work with diverse populations * Physical mobility (walking, bending, standing) * Adequate hearing and vision * Sensitive to patient and family situations Physical Requirements: No Additional Description Available Location: Primary Childrens at Lehi Work City: Lehi Work State: Utah Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Intermountain Health is an equal opportunity employer.
