The Associate Brand Manager is a key member of the Robert Half Brand team. Our goal as a team is to protect and help grow Robert Half and build brand equity, preference, and loyalty.??Leading with strategic thinking, insights, and data, the Brand Team will deliver a cohesive brand experience?globally with an ear to our audiences' needs and wants and an eye to positioning ourselves uniquely and boldly?across all communication touchpoints and experiences.???
This role will require an individual to wear several hats, including assisting and leading strategic brand projects. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in brand strategy, brand marketing, and cross-functional marketing. Bring your expertise and experience from other categories as we welcome different schools of thought and ways to help amplify the Robert Half brand.
Those who will be successful in this role exhibit the following qualities: self-starter; inquisitive; comfortable with ambiguity; ambitious; enthusiastic; strong attention to detail. On a regular basis, you will need to think strategically, provide recommendations, and justify branding efforts with data and audience insights. While executing on work is key for this role, an ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and asks the question "why?"
At Robert Half, your success will also heavily rely on your ability to collaborate well with others and to have a strong emotional quotient. This role will include opportunities to present to senior leadership, so strong presentation skills and effective PowerPoint presentation skills are a must.
What You'll Do:
- Planning and executing a variety of complex customer-facing brand marketing initiatives to meet marketing objectives (i.e., increasing brand awareness, consideration, and engagement)
- Leading and assisting in strategic projects that impact the way we perceived in the marketplace, including leading and assisting in the creation of strategic messaging frameworks for our business lines
- Building our brand management foundation, which includes the creation of key brand guidelines and cascading the knowledge and adoption of these guidelines across all of marketing, communication and the enterprise through effective communication plans
- Assisting in how we continue to build a more "sticky" brand by developing and amplifying our brand elements so we can be unique and differentiated from our competition
- Building and leading the continuous audit workstream of our competitors in the talent solutions/recruiting landscape and key brands from outside of our category; tracking trends for positioning, messaging, and visually how present their brand
- Leading and managing our Brand Center, which has exposure to the entire organization and our outside agencies
- Developing and enhancing a "brand education" program on the company Intranet which ensures that all employees understand the brand guidelines and standards, and that they have access to the appropriate logos and branded tools.
- Leading meetings such as our weekly Brand team meeting, brand office hours, and Brand Governance forum.
- Managing and being the primary point of contact for our brand intake process
- Promoting uniformity and consistency of the brand both internally and externally and proactively seeks out opportunities for improvements and enhancements
- Maintaining central documents, including tracking trademark compliance measures, liaising with global teams.
- A champion for our brand purpose and promise, as well as the customer experience. This includes leading discussions with Sr. leadership and cross-functional teams across the organization [internal corporate and field stakeholders] to ensure we are leveraging our brand platform/strategy appropriately and consistently to meet business objectives.
- Partnering/communicating and collaborating effectively with graphic/web designers, art directors, sales enablement, events/alliances, and social media managers, to ensure the brand message is communicated effectively and creatively.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field ideally within a Fortune 500 or ecommerce firm; full-time MBA graduate preferred.
- 5+ years of brand and marketing experience; media advertising and insights background a plus.
- Insights-driven and data-minded with a strong understanding of brand, consumer, and product marketing.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills - clear and concise decks are a must as well as being able to create visually effective decks is a must.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to communicate to senior leadership.
The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
$75,000.00 - $112,000.00
