For more information, go tohttps://studentaid.gov/pslf/ The eligible list created from this announcement may be used to fill one or more positions. #LI-POST Description of Job About the Position The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has an opening for a part-time Technician III working approximately 25-35 hours a week in our Grand Junction Traffic Location. This position will support the Region 3 Traffic Section administration of state-funded projects by developing procurement documents for the Traffic Section, recommending budget coding for work orders, task orders, purchase requisitions and change orders; accurately processing invoices, timesheets, personnel and other departmental forms; procuring supplies and hotel reservations; and managing vehicle monitoring programs for the Traffic Section; This position will also provide support and training to establish standards and procedures, and collect, compile, and disseminate information within the Traffic Section's SAP Plant Maintenance module. Your duties and responsibilitieswill include, but are not limited to, the following: * Manages the SAP Plant Maintenance module. * Ensure Regionwide and Statewide consistency of data collection methods and proper operations of the system. * Assist the MLOS Coordinator. * Closely monitors total expenditures (including overhead) for all MPAs, projects and maintenance activities. * Creates/inputs Purchase Orders into the SRM system. * Creates formatted reports that adhere to CDOT's design specification. * Serve as the vehicle fleet coordinator for Region 3 Traffic. * Serve as the fuel coordinator for Region 3 Traffic. * Processes requested reports for all maintenance activities. * Verify invoices for completeness, accuracy and proper coding prior to payment. * Review time sheets for Region 3 Traffic personnel, answer questions and make corrections as needed. * Tracking and provide guidance on completion of required paperwork, leave usage and time keeping. * Provide support and training to approximately 40 employees with respect to SAP/SRM data entry, work orders, shopping cart and stat purchase order entry including data interpretation. * Makes hotel reservations for the Traffic section including maintaining a travel card for the reservations. Work Environment: * Work hours are primarily between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMwith a flexible schedule resulting in approximately 25-35 hours a week. * Will be required to travel to attend and assist in trainings. Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights Minimum Qualifications Experience Only: * At least four (3) years of full-time work experience where the primary job duties include all of the following: * Working with computer software and applications (e.g., MS Excel, SAP, Google Applications). * Using software to track a large volume of data, such as documents, equipment, financial, or other. * Applying rules and procedures for the entry, quality assurance, analysis, resolution of issues, and reporting and manipulating data. * Providing on-going customer service in person, on the phone, and/or via email to internal and external customers. Substitution: * Completed college coursework will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
