Position Description Plans and directs the overall operation of a major department (with institutional oversight) and provides leadership for staff members. Eligible for ORP retirement. Under executive direction, performs highly varied administrative duties involving the use of independent judgment and professional skills. Responsible for all employees assigned to area. Preferred Qualifications * Seven plus years of fiscal management in a professional setting * Grant fund management and reporting experience * Experience navigating and extracting data from Cognos * Thorough understanding and experience with TTUHSC policies, especially policies related to Fund Manager, Contract Management, Purchasing, Sponsored Programs, and Cash Handling * Experience with cash handling and pCard management. * Experience developing reports and corresponding graphs depicting data represented * Five or more years of supervisory experience * Experience developing and implementing strategic plans for the the department Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred. Seven years progressively responsible management experience required. Education beyond bachelor's level may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
