There's a seat at our table for you… PAY : $17 to $19 /hourly SCHEDULE :10::00am to Finish What we offer: * Medical, Prescription Drug, EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employment * Dental, vision and other voluntary plans * Pre-Tax Saving Accounts * Profit Sharing * Family culture and career advancement opportunities Essential Functions: * Packs products in an accurate and timely manner. * Follows company standardized pack specifications along with any customer specified deviations as communicated through special instructions via work orders/cut tickets. * Accurately reads and comprehends all customer specific special instructions. * Performs Quality Control checks and communicates with supervisors and manager any defects. * Inspects meat/ products for defects, bruises or blemishes. * Obtains and distributes products to appropriate pack lines. * Weighs meats and tag containers for weight and contents. * Reduces processing costs by reducing the amount of repacks or empty pockets. * Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: * Must have ability to read, write and communicate in English. * Must be able to work independently or within a team environment. * Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures. * Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations. * Must have working knowledge of production equipment. * Must be able to understand and follow all Food Safety Guidelines and Occupational Safety Guidelines .
