Job Requirements Sweetwater's Service Team is looking to add a Product Tester 1 to our growing team! This position is responsible for confirming or denying the defect reported with any product coming back as a return or exchange as well as those damaged in receiving or during put away and picking. They make the final determination to either move the product to the vendor for credit (in case of defect) or back to stock (in cases that the product tests to spec) Qualifications * Confirm or deny problems reported with any product that comes back as a customer return, customer exchange or from receiving team as product damage * Move products to correct queue to return to stock as demo, go through repack with material handling or go back to vendor for credit/replacement through the admin team * Cleaning up products and their packaging as needed before moving products along and carefully noting that condition in the appropriate records * Experience working on Mac and or PC, good written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of both analog and digital audio equipment for live sound and recording, basic understanding of how to set it up and test for problems * 1+ years using live sound and/or audio recording gear with a wide depth of knowledge * Preferred: Certification or Degree in Music Tech, Audio Recording, Live Sound This is a full-time 8:00am - 5:00pm position located at Sweetwater's amazing facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
