Position Overview As a Retoucher at Duluth Trading Co., you will be responsible for editing and retouching product and lifestyle images for our catalog, website, and marketing materials. This role requires a strong understanding of color correction, image composition, and retouching techniques, with a particular emphasis on maintaining the authentic, rugged look that defines our brand. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced retail environment and a portfolio that highlights their ability to bring out the best in product and lifestyle photography. Position Details Work Environment: At Duluth Trading Company, we value face-to-face interactions that foster our culture of learning, creativity, and teamwork. The role is based at our headquarters near Madison, WI. You will work in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely from home on Fridays if you prefer. What You'll Do: * Retouch and enhance product and lifestyle images to align with Duluth Trading Co.'s brand standards. * Perform color correction, image sharpening, and minor compositing as needed. * Collaborate closely with photographers, art directors, graphic designers, and the marketing team to ensure visual consistency across all channels. * Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. * Maintain an organized workflow, including proper file management and archiving. * Ensure that all images meet the technical requirements for print and digital use. * Contribute to maintaining the company's visual identity by staying true to the brand's rugged and authentic style. What We're Looking For: * Proven experience as a Retoucher, preferably within a retail or e-commerce environment. * Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with a strong understanding of retouching techniques specific to product and lifestyle imagery. * Keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of color theory and image composition. * Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple tasks. * Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset. * A portfolio that demonstrates high-quality retouching work, especially in product and lifestyle photography * Familiarity with the outdoor, workwear, or apparel industry is a plus.
