The Student Services Specialist's primary function is to plan, coordinate and provide supportive services in the designated schools for students in need. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: students with IEP's, 504 Plans, behavioral deficits, poor attendance, discord in the home, mental health issues, physical limitations, poverty, distractibility, and other issues that may impact the ability to learn, achieve, and interact in socially acceptable ways.
