We are now looking for a
Production Engineer (m/f/d)
to join our team working for a better future.
The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg (Germany) or Hørsholm (Denmark).
What you will be doing
As a production engineer in the maritime industry, you will be responsible for developing and optimising our internal and selected supplier manufacturing processes for our mechatronic components and devices. You will work closely with design, quality, and production teams to ensure that products are produced efficiently and meet quality standards.
As Production Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities:
* Design, document, and implement manufacturing processes for our mechatronic components and systems for our own manufacturing sites as well as for selected suppliers
* Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability of products
* Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel
* Train employees and vendors as needed
* Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement
* Conduct quality control inspections and implement corrective actions
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
* Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
* 3-5 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in the mechatronic industry
* Understanding around data flow in design and ERP systems
* Proficiency in mechatronic manufacturing processes and quality control
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and internationally with cross-functional teams
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
* Familiarity with maritime industry standards and certifications
* SAP skills
* Verry good English and German language skills
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 20%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
