Join our Recycle Guard team in Portsmouth, NH. This position is in-office, with a hybrid schedule once training is complete.

Each Senior Underwriter provides vital team functions:
* • Review pre-UW checklist, renewal account's pre-underwriting and renewal emails sent from the
associate underwriter, well prior to the weekly meeting
* Weekly reoccurring meetings with each associate underwriter to discuss renewal 90 days in
advance of all renewals.
o Advise and discuss approach to each renewal with AU in meeting
* Review renewal information provided by agent
* Review NB submissions within 48 hours of receipt
* UW refers anything outside authority for approval at least 1-2 weeks prior to agents need by
date for quote
* Create proposal and quote NB by agents need by date
* Follow up on all quotes
* Works with AU on any outstanding conditions of binding that have not been received
* Sends accounts to AU for billing, binding acknowledgement and policy issuance at time of
binding
* Assure that binding acknowledgement are done no later than 48 hours after bind order is
received
* Finalizes ASW and workbook (to include schedule mod documentation) and saves in Onbase
* Requests loss control
* Plans leads and strategizes how to meet NB goals
* Approves any endorsement requests outside of the AU's authority
* Responds same day to any calls/inquiries from agents, carrier and/or potential clients
* Completes monthly rate action
* Meets annual NB goal
* Meets annual retention goal
* Meets rate need for book
* Assists in keeping book profitable
* Satisfactory results on audited files
* Completes quarterly peer audits
* Attends annual conference when requested
* Mentors and educates AU's and production underwriters • Increased authority / steps in on referrals when needed • Sets standards and leads by example for peers
* Performs/completes special projects as requested
* Team player! Assist when and where able
We are looking for individuals with:
* 3+ years property and casualty underwriting experience
* Ability to multitask
* Attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment
