Environmental Manager Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey About Us: CMI is expanding! We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Environmental Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: * Regulatory Compliance: Ensure company adherence to all relevant environmental regulations and permits. * Environmental Sampling and Monitoring: Oversee sampling, monitoring, and analysis programs. * Data Management and Reporting: Compile, interpret, and submit regulatory reports accurately and on time. * Site Investigation and Remediation: Manage environmental site assessments, corrective actions, and remediation projects. * Environmental & HazMat Program Management: Lead hazardous materials management, waste reduction, and environmental risk mitigation efforts. * Audits and Inspections: Conduct internal audits and inspections, ensuring continuous compliance and readiness for external reviews. Requirements and Experience: * Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an Environmental Manager role. * Industry experience within the chemical, food, or fragrance sectors. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proven ability to lead and mentor a team. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Education and Credentials: * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field preferred. * Professional certification such as CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) is highly desirable. Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods. * Capable of climbing ladders, stooping, crawling, and bending. * Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Other Requirements: * Successful completion of a background check and potential drug screening. * Availability for overtime and flexible working hours as needed. * Residence within a reasonable commuting distance from the work site.
