Project Manager, Logistics
As a Project Manager at DSV, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will oversee all aspects of the project, including coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop detailed project plans and timelines to ensure project completion within budget and timeline constraints
* Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure project success
* Manage project budgets and resources, including staff allocation, equipment, and materials
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders
* Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements
* Identify and manage project risks and issues
* Lead project team meetings and provide direction and guidance to team members
* Conduct project post-mortem and create a lessons-learned report
Educational background / Work experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
* 5+ years of project management experience in the transportation and logistics industry
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
* Experience managing projects across multiple departments and stakeholders
Skills & Competencies
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage resources and budgets, develop project plans, and monitor progress
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes
Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)
* May manage a team of project coordinators or project assistants
Preferred Qualifications
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
* Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
* Familiarity with the transportation and logistics industry, including regulatory requirements and market trends
Language skills
* Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools
Travel
* This position will require up to 20% travel per year

For this position, the expected base pay is: $71,000.00 - $106,500 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
