Production/Product Development From sourcing raw materials to manufacturing, order placement, pricing, quality control and getting the finished product where it needs to be, our production/product development team is responsible for ensuring we keep our standards high and our business profitable at every step of the journey. Specific Responsibilities Would Include Product Development Coordinator supports the seasonal product needs, in collaboration with a cross functional team that includes Production, Design, Sales, and Overseas offices to develop and execute assigned product lines. * Continual policing of the calendar with Design, Production and Technical Design to ensure all deadlines are met and communicating status to all other departments. Establish an efficient and transparent process to maintain a consistent flow of approvals. * Attends all milestone meetings with the Design team to understand brand's vision prior to initiating the tech pack process. * Work directly with overseas vendors, reviewing and approving product development submissions including lab dips, strike offs, sales samples and pre-production samples. Ensuring quality and integrity of the brands are maintained to standard. * Collaborate with Design teams and Technical Designers to ensure garment constructions, design details, and art placement are met to the design concept at fit stage. * Partner with Design, Production, and Sales team to ensure that development stays on schedule per design calendar. * Responsible for design integrity and ensuring intent/concept is met throughout the entire development process. * Evaluate initial tech packs through PLM with the Design team, ensuring all details are executable by factories. * Catalog and maintain fabric, print and trim standard libraries for future references. Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have * Comprehensive understanding of the entire Product Development cycle and all milestones. * Working knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques and seam classifications. * Knowledge of apparel development process from inception through production, including but not limited to fabric technology, color science, art applications, and garment construction. * Understanding of Child Safety Guidelines. * Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative. * Proficient in FlexPLM, Microsoft Office, knowledge of Adobe Illustrator a plus. * Superior organizational and communication skills; team oriented. * Adaptable and flexible, enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directions. * Ability to work in a fast pace, high performance environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability. * Bachelor's degree, Product Development major preferred. * 3+ years of product development or relevant experience. Salary Range: $60,000 - $62,400 At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
