This is a grant funded position to support the overall wellness of Allied Health and Nursing students at BCTC. Job Duties: * Work with and maintain a cohort of 200 Allied Health and Nursing students to create a personalized plan for each to support student persistence, retention, credential completion, and/or successful transfer or career entry. * Provide an inclusive and supportive environment for all students, offering regular communication with students, staff, and faculty. * Provide ongoing and individualized academic coaching for students to identify personal, technology, and academic barriers and create a plan to overcome barriers and reach established goals. * Assist students with navigating both college services and community services and resources. This will include providing interventions and workshops on topics such as growth mindset and time-management to assist students in academic goal achievement. * Participate in outreach campaigns targeted at potential cohort populations throughout the year. * Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (Human Services, Social Work, Counseling or related field) and two years of related experience or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's and (4) Four years of experience or equivalent Additional Skills Requested: * Advising Experience Employee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection Act
