The Senior Reservoir Engineer, working under limited supervision, is responsible for steering preparation of quarterly production volume forecasts to support economics for asset development and budgets cycle for cash flow projections. The role prepares comprehensive cash flow analyses and modeling for capital and expense projects and cost comparisons on budgeted versus actual expenditures. The role summarizes information and trends, steers evaluation of internal production data, and spearheads reviews of project proposals and plans. The role contributes substantially to special projects focused on optimizing DSU economics and field scale development planning, establishes effective relationships, influences at all levels, mentors on collaboration, and contributes innovative solutions leveraging an inclusive mindset and diverse technical expertise. * Analyze well reserve levels for economic value analysis and company reporting requirements according to established schedules * Prepare comprehensive cash flow analyses and modeling for capital and expense projects (experience in Aries or Mosaic economic software preferred) * Collect, analyze and summarize information and trends (Spotfire experience required) * Manipulate data and makes appropriate business recommendations for meeting or exceeding requirements * Participate in long range business planning by preparing quarterly production volume forecasts and projections * Prepare cost comparisons on budgeted versus actual expenditures * Conduct and provide economic analysis to determine the cost/benefit for potential dispositions and acquisitions of properties * Evaluate internal production data and acquisition candidate data, and review project proposals and plans * Develop production and reserve reports for regulatory and company reporting requirements * Participate in special projects as assigned by management to optimize production processes and production equipment by increasing efficiencies and production levels and decreasing operating expenses * Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks * Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required. Experience: * 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Asset Development, Reservoir Characterization, Reserves Analysis, Performance Analysis and Forecasting, Economic Evaluations or a related field.
