Overview Responsible for assisting in the advancement of Mastec Renewables geomatics and surveying operations through the skilled use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). This position requires strong technical and communication abilities and a passion for enhancing business processes within the renewable energy sector. This position will safely operate the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) on assigned projects to ensure necessary data collection. Knowing and following FAA rules and regulations is crucial and the operators must be able to operate in a safe and effective manner. Location & Travel Details You'll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build renewable projects. This is a traveling position (up to 50%) working remotely and traveling to project sites as needed. You have the potential to travel to any of our project sites located in any state throughout the US. When travel is required, meals and lodging will be covered on a corporate expense card. This position is eligible for routine travel home (rotation) from the jobsite. This position is eligible to receive a company vehicle.
