Job Description:
- Provide emergency life-saving services to patients involved in accidents, such as vehicle crashes, burns, and drug overdoses.
- Assist patients experiencing medical emergencies, including heart attacks, strokes, childbirth, and more.
- Assess and evaluate patients' conditions at emergency scenes.
- Obtain patients' medical histories and assess current conditions.
- Administer appropriate emergency medical services according to established rules, regulations, and protocols.
- Transport patients to medical facilities under the supervision of paramedics or physicians.
- Report observations and actions taken to the emergency department.
- Document trip details and ensure proper equipment and supplies are restored and ready for use.
- Sanitize the ambulance after transporting patients with highly contagious diseases.
- Provide patient care at accident scenes under the guidance of higher-skilled personnel.
- Administer medications orally or by injection when trained.
- Operate electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other specialized equipment.
Note: Position urgency is normal. Bilingual and holiday coverage not required.
