Overview
CENTERS, LLC is a professional management firm specializing in facility, operation, and program management for higher education. CENTERS' management approach is customized for each client yet retains our uniform quality. Our firm unites site staff with a centralized administrative team, each contributing to the firm's goals and client needs. The CENTERS team is innovative, entrepreneurial, trail-blazing, and ambitious for both CENTERS and our clients. Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.
Responsibilities
* Safely instruct client or team through an effective training session
* Provide quality customer service to all clients and potential clients, regardless of skill level, appearance, or otherwise
* Ensure client safety
* Communicate effectively with the supervisor through phone, email, or in person
* Enforce all program policies and procedures as it pertains to the sport development program
* Enforce all building policies and procedures and assist as needed during emergencies
* Attend all sport instructor and necessary all-department staff meetings
* Safely instruct effective, creative sport practices or private lessons
* Provide quality customer service to all participants in class, regardless of fitness level, appearance, or otherwise
* Communicate effectively with supervisor through phone, email, or in person
* Enforce all program policies and procedures as it pertains to the sport and program
* Enforce all building policies and procedures and assist as needed during emergencies
* Attend all necessary meetings and trainings
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
* Leadership and supervisory abilities
* Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm
* Excellent organizational, and written and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* Knowledge of standard practices in recreational sports
* Ability to thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestyles
Competencies:
Technical Competencies
* Proficiency with sport knowledge and coaching techniques
* Proficient with developing plan for continued growth in athletes' skills
Human Relations:
Internal contacts include staff at all levels. External contacts include external customers and vendors. Contact involves troubleshooting, informing, exchanging information, negotiating, making recommendations, and giving information or instructions.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Work Environment
* Office environment/fitness center environment
* Moderate to loud noise
* Evening and/or weekend work as required
Physical Demands
* Standing or walking for at least 50% of the work day
* Occasional bending, stooping
* Hearing and talking
