We are currently hiring for Senior Water Transfer Technicians to support projects currently located in the Southeast Ohio area. In this role, you'll be working at project sites where overnight travel to field assignments is frequent and required, with work assignments lasting a week or longer, depending on project need and other factors. Work Schedule: You will work rotating shifts from 5:00am to 5:30pm and from 5:00pm to 5:30am. Our typical rotation is monthly, meaning you will work daylight for a month, then rotate to working nights. However, you must remain flexible depending on project duration, customer project needs, and company project needs. Graduated from a standard high school or GED or have equivalent experience. 2. A minimum of one year of water transfer experience. Desirable: 1. 2 years' experience in industry across other disciplines 2. One or more years as certified fusion technician. 3. CDL Certification Requirements/Skills Essential: 1. Good understanding and working knowledge of water transfer operations and equipment. 2. Ability to run all aspects of water management for a Frac. 3. Possess good communication skills with individuals at all levels. 4. Possess ability to effectively supervise and train other employees. 5. Ability to write legibly and intelligently. 6. Ability to read and follow directions. 7. Valid driver's license. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Participate in set ups & demobs; assemble required equipment/parts/pieces utilizing power tools and hand tools. * Operate pumps to job specifications, monitoring pressures, fluid levels, and temperatures and opening/closing valves providing a path for the water to flow. * Operate telehandler, skid steer, man basket (when properly trained) in a safe manner performing all pre/post operational checks. * Operate light plant, compressor, generator safely performing all pre/post operational checks. * Recordkeeping, including completing a job safety analysis, water tracking spreadsheet, pump checklist, equipment checklist, time sheet, BBS, near miss report, etc. * Communicate effectively utilizing email, text, phone, hand held radio, and interpersonal communication. * Overnight travel to field assignments, with work assignments continuing at times for periods of a week's duration or longer, according to project requirements and related factors. * Maintains a clean, organized work area. * Fuels equipment safely along with another employee, ensuring not to spill any fuel on the ground. * Utilize basic rigging when performing a lift, as well as using a tag line. * Monitor frac tanks/upright tanks/AST levels continuously/intermittently ensuring that they keep levels within specified limits. * Monitor filter pods and change filter socks when applicable. * Follows all Standard Operating Procedures set by KCS. * Follow all Safety policies and procedures without fail. * Assist in winter ops including blowing lines down, pigging, controlled release, and operating heaters. LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintains cleanliness of company vehicles, ensures adequate room for transporting up to four (4) employees to and from work site. * Trains and instructs field water transfer technicians on how to man each location. * May manage subordinate employees or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the KCS policies. * Keeps down time and operating costs to a minimum and ensures water transfer operations are efficient. * Prepares daily Field Tickets for all the work performed on customer job sites; reviews for accuracy and completeness; submits tickets daily to the Company's accounting department.
