This position is in Office of Air and Radiation, Office of Radiation and Indoor Air, Indoor Environments Division, Center for Scientific Analysis. About OAR: About the Office of Air and Radiation | US EPA This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. * EPA offers work-from-home and work schedule flexibilities as described in the Benefits section. You will: * Serve as manager and technical expert in the development of IAQ health effects, public health impacts, technological, and economic assessments to support the development of guidance and other information that promotes the reduction or prevention of human exposure to indoor air pollutants and contaminants. * Provide expert technical and policy advice and support on ORIA indoor air quality health, technological, and other science and policy issues by preparing and delivering informational assessments, briefings, papers, and reports for dissemination and use by EPA staff, management, and stakeholders (including industry, special interest groups, members of Federal, state, local, and foreign governments, etc.). * Exercise full supervisory responsibility over a staff of professional employees to accomplish the goals of the Center. * Oversee Center training and other human resource development initiatives. * Advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position.
