Your Impact
Anaplan, a software company that is part of the Thoma Bravo portfolio, is currently seeking a Corporate Strategy Manager to join our Chief Strategy Office organization.
You will join a small team of individuals who embrace and respect diverse perspectives, aren’t afraid to push boundaries and try new insights, and are passionate about helping our customers and each other succeed.
As a part of the Chief Strategy Office, this role will be based in New York City and will report to our Senior Director of Corporate Strategy and work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer, CEO, and top executives of the company to develop and drive company, product, functional and regional strategy. You'll impact decisions across the core functions of the company and pull insights from analysis for key leaders and our board of directors. You will have the opportunity to lead strategy projects and drive operationalization of recommendations to enact real impact.
- Lead and support strategy development and implementation
- Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis for growth strategies and operational improvements
- Provide actionable strategy recommendations based on your analysis
- Serve as an active thought partner for all areas of the business, incl. GTM, product and engineering
- Present and discuss findings with senior management and board members (C-suite, Thoma Bravo) in close collaboration with operating leaders
- Support the strategic evaluation of M&A opportunities
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in analytic discipline
- Minimum two years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
- Previous experience serving clients in SaaS, or private equity a plus
- Demonstrated ability to drive both quantitative and qualitative workstreams independently, incl. ability to workplan
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in oral and written forms to senior management and influence management decisions
- Experience scoping and structuring strategy and operational projects
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical capabilities and previous experience developing data-driven analysis
- Strong excel analysis skill, incl. modeling
- Ability to conceptually break down a problem and propose an approach to solve it
- Ability to independently create clear, compelling, and convincing stories in PowerPoint backed by robust analytical insight
- Clear thinking and writing skills
- Strong consultative, analytical, and strategic capability, always thinking about what’s next and able to deliver a compelling business case for bringing new ideas forward
- Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving approach
- Ability to learn Anaplan for analysis (it’s not hard!)
- Ability to work with senior management
Base Salary Range:
$139,000 - $188,000 USD
