Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing & Inventory Manager in Amarillo, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, purchasing inventory, and overseeing staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire buying process
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable
- Handle and manage all aspects of inventory purchasing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Negotiate rates to achieve the best possible prices
- Manage all equipment and trailers effectively
- Lead and manage staff to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Utilize ERP solutions and Epicor for effective resource planning
- Perform accounting functions as necessary
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Proficiency in Epicor software
- In-depth knowledge of ERP Solutions
- Experience with About Time software
- Familiarity with Accounting Functions
- Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP)
- Understanding and experience with Buying Processes
- Excellent Communication skills
