Overview The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for preventing inventory shortages and safeguarding the Service Center. This position must demonstrate a positive, professional image and attitude to all associates, visitors, and vendors. A comprehensive understanding of security operations as well as Microsoft Windows Software is key to being successful in this position. This shift is Sun-Thurs 3pm - 11pm Bilignual preferred Employee health is our #1 priority, so we are providing on-site social distancing, PPE and sanitizing stations. Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Conduct surveillance of the Service Center through Closed Circuit Television and monitor any unusual activity in the warehouse. * Record all trailer/container information and enter data into the yard management system; ensuring accuracy through yard audits. * *Report all incidents of associate theft, fraud, or misconduct immediately, and prevent theft within the Junction City Distribution Center when possible as well as investigate any claims of reported losses. * Perform thorough checks of all associates entering and exiting the facility. * Respond to all warehouse emergencies including all alarm events that occur on the burglary and fire alarm systems.Properly follow company and Occupational Safety Health Administration procedures. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment. * Ability to read, write, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required. * Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager. * Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings. #LI-KC2 Qualifications The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without accommodation. * Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations. * Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods. * Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed. * Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed. * Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
