Responsibilities Responsibilities: * Support the Marketing/Communications team by serving as primary liaison with Human Resources to promote and enhance the company's award-winning culture * Oversee the content and resources made available to employees through our intranet portal "IntraGUARD Zone" * Support the company's mission, vision, values, and guiding principles through an enhanced internal communication strategy * Support employee recruitment efforts through externally magnifying GUARD as an attractive employer brand using a range of tactics across social media platforms, including Glassdoor, and other relevant tactics * Work closely with Human Resources to develop and execute programs, events, and activities that enhance employee engagement and overall well-being across all offices and with remote employees * Oversee reputation management strategy, work to improve/secure favorable company ratings from Google Reviews, BBB, Indeed, and coordinate appropriate responses to complaints and media inquiries * Work closely with the Marketing Team and HR to organize internal meetings, training sessions, and events including our annual off-site Summit and Holiday Party * Work closely with the Marketing Team to create a repository of employee testimonials (including videos) in support of our culture, mission, vision, and values * Create tools to maintain brand identity internally and offer easy access to resources for interdisciplinary compliance * Assist with enhancing corporate sustainability strategy * Assist with enhancing philanthropic strategy/community involvement with multiple US field offices as well as remote employees * Work closely with brand ambassadors at field offices to extend company culture * Create, own and implement a media relations strategy, both proactive and reactive, to support our objectives Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related field * At least five years of experience with employee engagement and/or communication/media relations strategies * Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Excellent writing and communication skills * Highly creative * Demonstrated leadership qualities * Willingness to travel periodically to field offices countrywide * Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress a plus * Experience with event planning and project management a plus * Understanding of the insurance industry a plus
