Attapulgus, GA / Hybrid: 2 days home, 3 days in office per week
We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner II to join our Catalyst team in Attapulgus, GA.

As the Supply Chain Planner for the Attapulgus Site, you will be responsible for supplying all the inbound raw materials at the site. This includes bringing in all the direct procurement raw materials at the right time, meeting established inventory targets, and as cost efficiently as possible. This role will report into and be a part of the greater supply chain team. This role interacts with operations on a daily basis to have the pulse on any major changes to the sites needs. This role will interact with the suppliers on order placement and to get ahead of any supply issues before they become bigger problems. This role will work with procurement as needed for supplier issues or contract negotiations. This is a critical role to the business and we look to this role to continue to try to maximize cost reductions and streamline the supply chain while meeting the site's needs.
As a Supply Chain Planner II, you create chemistry by...
* Being responsible for supplying the plant with all of its key raw materials with both short and long leadtimes while meeting inventory targets.
* Being responsible for Work Cycle and any payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Working daily with a few of the key raw material suppliers due to the unique and critical nature of some raw materials that will include closely monitoring the location of rail fleets.
* Providing short and long term forecasts to customers and procurement for contract negotiations.
* Leading the raw material effort in the monthly closing activities.
If you...
* A Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred) or comparable experience in a related field.
* Experience with ERP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and basic knowledge of planning tools and processes would be helpful in this role.
* Leadership skills and the ability to work as a cross-functional team member.
* Basic understanding of Manufacturing and Quality Control processes, preferred.
