Help Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Incumbent is required to graduate from a ten week US Army Civilian Police School accredited Basic Police Officer Academy or receive a USACPS waiver within the first 12 months of employment IAW AR 190-56. * Incumbent must be able to successfully pass training, certification and qualification requirements related to law enforcement work functions as prescribed by policy, regulations or statutes. * Incumbent is required to pass entry level and annual re-certification of Department of Army police physical agility test with 30 days of entry. * Comply with and maintain the requirements of the Individual Reliability Program (IRP). * This position is subject to the provisions of the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as the Lautenberg Amendment. * This position is designated as Key. This position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization, which requires the incumbent, or designated alternate, to be screened from military recall status. * This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
