SCHEDULE:

Crew B Sun-Tues 6:00PM-6:30AM, Wed 6:00PM-12:30AM

Crew D Wed 12:00AM-6:30AM, Thurs-Sat 6:00PM-6:30AM

Truvant is actively seeking candidates to join our rapidly expanding site in Haslet, Texas. As a premier contract manufacturing and packaging service provider, we specialize in collaborating with top global brands in food & beverage and consumer packaged goods. Our Haslet facility operates around the clock, exclusively supporting the LEGO Group on a 24/7 schedule.


We offer diverse opportunities across four crews, accommodating both day and night shifts. Our unique schedule features 12-hour shifts for three days, supplemented by an additional 6-hour shift on the fourth day. This innovative 3.5-day work week structure provides numerous benefits, including increased off days, two extra hours of overtime each week, weekly pay, and days off during the week without needing to use PTO. POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To setup and operate machines based on specified target levels of throughput, yield, and rework by following all approved production and quality documentation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that all necessary supplies are continuously available on-hand, and the set-up of the work area is correct for production.
  • Ensure proper fill-weights with Quality
  • Ensure Production Associates on the machine/production line are performing job duties as assigned
  • Verify that the correct packaging material is in use
  • Correct all machine errors/stops as quickly as possible.
  • Complete all required paperwork that applies to specific areas and products
  • Palletize products appropriately
  • Identify defective products
  • Operate a pallet jack, pallet wrapper, and other required equipment
  • Seek continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • No previous experience required
  • On the job training provided


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures
  • Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
  • Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential
  • Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense


PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
  • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
  • Must be able to reach, touch, grasp
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push
  • Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor.
  • Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products
  • Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 50 pounds
