Bonus Potential Summary/Objective The Maintenance Coordinator performs and oversees work orders for maintaining and improving the Hospital, coordinating with all departments for moves, work order and project completion Essential Job Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Coordinates daily work orders, department moves, preventative maintenance and other assignments among staff to ensure timely completion of projects and ensure that equipment is running properly and according to safety guidelines, maintaining documentation of all activities performed. * Maintains access control of Hospital through the issuance of keys to in coming employees, up keep of the key log and retrieving keys from directors when a key holder leaves employment as well as changing out locks as needed. * Conducts and oversees scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned equipment maintaining logs of inspections and repairs performed according to safety policy and procedure guidelines. * Conducts and oversees scheduled testing of equipment, taking action to correct any issues found through testing and maintaining logs in accordance with federal, local and hospital guidelines. * Provides routine maintenance and repairs to a variety of general hospital equipment using a variety of tools. * Maintains inventory of needed items and equipment in the department and orders accordingly within budgeted guidelines.
