Highlights of the position:
- Assists in operations of multiple machines.
- Performs basic troubleshooting activities to ensure product quality.
- Changes machine tooling due to wear.
- Loads and unloads machines or containers with raw, work in process, or formed material.
- Performs visual and part inspection using basic measuring devices to ensure quality of part.
- Produces parts at an achievable rate to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of job-related experience.
- Good mechanical troubleshooting skills to resolve simple machine failures to ensure machines continue to operate.
- Ability to assist with setups and changeovers.
- Ability to learn how to use simple quality devices such as gauges and calipers.
- Basic computer skills to enter quality measurements and daily production numbers.
- Basic mathematical skills.
