Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a Human Resources Manager to administer policies relating to all phases of Human Resources activities. Location: In office, Staunton, VA. What you will do: * Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are complying * Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions * Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals * Administers Human Resources transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations * Tracks employee statistics for government reporting * Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment * Provides recommendations regarding resolution of employee relations issues * Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs * Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization * Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization * Maintains Affirmative Action Plan and ensures compliance with OFCCP regulations * Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations What's in it for you: * Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more * The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth * The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Qualifications: * 4-year bachelor's degree * 5 years related experience and/or training * PHR or SPHR certification preferred
