Summary The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, execution, and monitoring of all aspects of marketing and customer acquisition for the company, with a focus on small business customers. This individual must have the ability to convey a compelling vision through storytelling that delivers proven results. This position is also responsible for collaborating with all departments, subsidiaries, and major lines of business to create and implement integrated marketing campaigns, manage brand positioning, and enhance customer experience. In addition, this position will be required to oversee performance, talent, and resources, across the marketing and communications team. Specific Job Functions * Partners with the CEO in articulating b1BANK's vision and point of view externally and internally. * Leads the development of an innovative marketing function that helps drive the organization's strategic priorities while executing on time and within given resources. * Establishes an internal organizational structure for the marketing & communications team that promotes efficiency and excellence. * Guides change management efforts while balancing competing priorities and ensuring accountability from everyone involved. * Works closely with marketing and communications staff, offering strong leadership, effective mentorship, and management to help direct reports achieve their goals and desired outcomes. * Ensures the team prioritizes, manages, and completes projects in an organized and supportive manner. Use your team's skills and knowledge to foster growth, make a significant impact, meet our clients' needs, and deliver top-quality results on a large scale. * Fosters a team culture that emphasizes b1BANK's five guiding principles and supports the professional growth of all team members. * Establishes the marketing and communications team's internal reputation as an invaluable resource within the organization. * Creates and continues a proven track record in managing financial resources, creating strategies to increase revenue, and effectively deploying resources for sustainable initiatives.\ * Develops and manages the marketing budget; track and measure the performance of all marketing initiatives and demonstrate return on investment (ROI). * Develops and manages the company's brand identity and messaging across all touchpoints. * Crafts a compelling company narrative that resonates with target audiences. * Leads the development and execution of creative advertising campaigns across various channels. * Builds and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and effectively communicates marketing strategies and results to those stakeholders. * Works with the executive team to elevate and manage a unified go-to-market approach across b1BANK, spanning current and new products and services. * Manages relationships with creative partners, including agencies, freelancers, and production companies, to ensure high-quality and consistent brand messaging. * Oversees the selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation of external creative partners to optimize collaboration and outcomes. * Coordinates with creative partners to develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with company goals and brand standards. * Ensures effective communication and alignment between internal teams and external creative partners to streamline project execution and innovation. * Establishes clear expectations, timelines, and deliverables for creative partners, and monitors progress to ensure objectives are met * Develops and executes data-driven marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and focuses on measurable results and ROI. * Leverages and enhances the company's presence on social media and professional networking sites, resulting in increased follower engagement and candidate interest * Champions a modern and innovative approach to marketing, embracing new technologies and trends * Utilizes data analytics to gain customer insights, personalize marketing efforts, and measure campaign effectiveness * Leads the development and growth of our digital presence and guides the digital banking experience, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for customers. * Develops and implements strategies to enhance the client experience at every touchpoint. * Leads the creation of high quality events for clients and prospective clients. * Acts as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events. * Successfully increases the company's visibility and attractiveness as an employer of choice within the industry. * Utilizes data and feedback to refine and improve employer branding strategies continuously. * Demonstrates an increase in positive employer brand sentiment through employee surveys and external reviews. * Builds strong partnerships with HR and talent acquisition teams to align branding initiatives with recruitment goals. * Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to talent attraction and retention, demonstrating clear ROI of branding efforts. Minimum Job Requirement * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. * A minimum of (10) ten years marketing experience is required. * A minimum of (3) three years of overseeing and leading a high-performing marketing team is required. * Proven track record of success in developing and implementing data-driven marketing strategies. * Proven track record of championing and executing strategies for innovation, creativity, and continuous learning within a department or practice area. * Demonstrates strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media, and content marketing. * Possesses strong organizational and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients. * Proficient in using marketing technology systems and tools, such as CRM, content management systems, and SEO/SEM. * Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Suite.
