Job Summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring for Chairman's Coordinator in the Department of Dermatology. The Chairman's Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department by supporting the Chairman and Department Administrator. This position oversees administrative functions, including executive calendar management, meeting coordination, faculty recruitment logistics, and event planning. Additionally, they act as a key liaison for faculty, staff, and external stakeholders, contributing to special projects and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve departmental goals.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential.
Experience and Education
* High School diploma, or equivalent, and at least six (6) years administrative experience are required.
* Bachelor's degree and experience working with top organizational directors/administrators preferred.

The candidate will be performing the following duties:
* Chairman's Office Support
* Manage executive calendar and meeting triage.
* Provide travel support and assist with manuscript/abstract submissions.
* Handle letters of recommendation for faculty, residents, and students.
* Coordinate licensing, credentialing, and memberships.
* Oversee workgroup/committee meetings, supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and paging service contract.
* Faculty Recruitment and Retention
* Organize interview itineraries and travel for faculty candidates.
* Coordinate select departmental events (e.g., alumni event, holiday party).
* Manage faculty leave requests and on-call schedules.
* Serve as My Time Coordinator for faculty time management.
* Webpage and Social Media
* Serve as a liaison between department and consultants on social media content and presentation.
* Lectureships
* Organize annual lectureships, including travel, honorarium, brochures, plaques, and catering.
* Special Projects
* Coordinate visits from university leaders and faculty retreats.
* Manage other special projects as needed.
