Job Title: Sales Engineer Job Description In this role, the individual will handle a market where they will engage with both current and new customers. They will receive inquiries, review blueprints, and actively quote and price products for the market. The position involves planning, pricing, selling, and providing customer service for technically oriented markets where heat, wear, and corrosion-resistant metal alloys are used. This role does not involve making the product but rather creating the component parts. Responsibilities * Engage with current and new customers to address their needs. * Review blueprints and actively quote and price products. * Plan, price, and sell products in technically oriented markets. * Provide customer service for heat, wear, and corrosion-resistant metal alloys. * Handle internal issues with customers. * Maintain long-term relationships with customers. Essential Skills * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, metallurgical, or related field). * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer. * Proficiency in reading blueprints. * Experience in pricing and quoting. Work Environment The role is based at the headquarters in Waukesha, which has 12 engineers in the group and 420 employees overall. The company has 1200 employees as a corporation. This position is part of the North American Foundry Group and involves inside sales with minimal travel (3-4 times a year). The culture is customer service-oriented, team-focused, and emphasizes long-term customer relationships. The market handled includes naval, aerospace, mining, and chemical sectors. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
