Job Description: 2025-26 District Calendar (link) * Fulton's calendar has 166 student days and 179 staff days. * Snow days are built into our calendar and will not be made up. * School begins on August 20, 2025, and ends on May 21, 2026. * There are several planned breaks throughout the year: * October 31 * November 24-28 * December 22-January 2 * March 23-27 * April 3-6 ___________________________________________________________________________ Purpose Statement The job of Middle School Teacher is done for the purpose(s) of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibilities for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and/or individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquires from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
