* 3D CAD Modeling and Design: Create and modify 3D CAD models of motor-drivetrain components
using industry standard software. This will involve detailed modeling of complex geometries, ensuring
design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
* 2D Drawing Creation: Generate detailed 2D engineering drawings from 3D models, adhering to
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices.
* CAE Analysis: Conduct finite element analysis (FEA, CFD, Thermal Simulation) to validate designs,
predict performance, and identify potential failure modes. You'll be working with experienced engineers
to interpret simulation results and iterate on designs.
* Validation: Development of prototype hardware, test fixtures, test plans, technical specifications, as
well as conducting component and system level validation testing/characterization.
* Collaboration: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with engineers from
various backgrounds (electrical, controls, manufacturing, etc.).
* You will be expected to communicate
your ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
