Serve as an undergraduate research assistant on the project: Deepfakes: An Exploration of the Effect of AI on Revenge Porn. Review of laws addressing the use of AI and other technologies to create and distribute deepfake images in connection with image-based sexual abuse. The research assistant will: * Research deepfake aspects of image-based sexual abuse laws in the 50 states and other US territories. * Compare deepfakes to actual images to determine societal views on the sharing of intimate images, both consensually and non-consensually. * Explore victim-blaming in the enacted laws. * You must have Work Study funding added to your awards BEFORE applying for this position. You are potentially eligible for Work Study if you are a US Citizen or permanent resident, have filed a FAFSA, are enrolled in at least 6 credits, and are in good academic standing.
