LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE Department: Logistics Location: Lakewood, WA Position Status: Full Time, Hourly Schedule: Monday - Friday Position Location: Onsite Salary: $20 - $24 ABOUT THE POSITION This position is responsible for ensuring that our customer shipments are made efficiently and with a high level of service. Associates may also be called upon to perform other tasks as needed, including warehouse duties, prepping and loading deliveries, and processing customer orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Picking and staging orders * Checking picked orders * Invoicing/shipping checked orders * Prepares shipping documents to meet customer requirements * Ensures that all shipments meet the shipping guidelines * Maintains effective communication with all customers both internally and externally * Completes all documents and prepares shipping paperwork in a timely and precise manner to ensure compliance regulations are being met * Support and fulfill external customer's needs at the will call receiving desk * Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance * Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: * High school diploma or equivalent Related Experience: * Experience in a warehouse and/or inventory, receiving, manufacturing position preferred, but not required * Forklift experience highly preferred Required Competencies: * Effectively communicate with others * Ability to work in a team environment * Strong attention to detail * Use of Microsoft Office Programs Physical Demands: * Frequent reaching, bending, pulling, and stooping * Ability to stand for extended periods of time * Ability to lift at least 50 pounds BENEFITS * Health Benefits * 401K Match * Paid Holidays and Vacation * Ongoing Training and Coaching Opportunities * A rewarding and supportive culture that promotes a healthy work/life balance WHO WE ARE: PRINT NW: is the largest commercial printer in South Sound and the seventh largest in Washington State.
