Key Responsibilities:

Automation System Design and Architecture:
* Develop and design comprehensive automation architectures for various industrial applications.
* Define the structure, components, and protocols of automation systems, ensuring scalability and integration with existing systems.
* Identify and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms for automation solutions.
System Integration:
* Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration of automation systems with other business systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and IT infrastructure).
* Develop and validate communication protocols and ensure compatibility with hardware and software components.
Requirements Analysis:
* Work with project managers and stakeholders to gather system requirements and understand business needs.
* Define functional and technical specifications for automation systems based on requirements analysis.
Design Documentation:
* Create detailed design documents, system architectures, and flow diagrams for automation projects.
* Develop user manuals, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures for automation systems.
Testing and Validation:
* Lead the testing and validation of automation solutions to ensure that they meet functional and performance requirements.
* Troubleshoot issues during the design, development, and testing phases.
Continuous Improvement:
* Continuously evaluate and improve automation systems by researching emerging technologies and industry best practices.
* Provide recommendations for system upgrades, optimizations, and improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaboration and Communication:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to ensure successful implementation of automation solutions.
* Provide technical support and training to other engineering teams and stakeholders.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of work experience.
* Experience with One Automation architecture and design Designing and developing automation systems, ensuring their efficiency and reliability, and providing technical expertise in the automation field
* HS Diploma / GED
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with designing and developing automation systems, ensuring their efficiency and reliability, and providing technical expertise in the automation field
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
