SCOPE
The Quality Control Technician role is essential in maintaining and upholding the quality standards of our company. They are responsible for inspecting ingredients, materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and company standards. This position involves inspecting products at various stages of production, maintaining accurate manufacturing records, and promptly addressing any quality or compliance concerns. The Quality Control Technician collaborates with cross-functional teams and actively contributes to a positive and safety-conscious work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain and review manufacturing records.
* Verify calibration of equipment in accordance with company quality procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
* Perform inspections across all stages of production.
* Collects samples as needed for testing.
* Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
* Segregate nonconforming products in real time.
* Utilize inventory systems to change inventory statuses, review product specifications, and identify real-time information on the quantities and locations of inventory items.
* Comply with all company quality and food safety standards.
* Assist in the preparation for customer and third-party inspections.
* Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
* Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
* Regular and timely attendance.
* Must have impeccable organizational skills and be detailed oriented.
* Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
* Able to analyze and interpret information.
* Uses good time management and decision-making skills to assist key personnel in resolving incidents in real time.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable breaks.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
EDUCATION
* Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
