About Region 1: EPA Region 1 (New England) | US EPA This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. * EPA offers work-from-home and work schedule flexibilities as described in the Benefits section. You will: * Oversee the development and implementation of enforcement and compliance assurance statutes, policies, and regulatory requirements affecting EPA Region 1. * Deliver a comprehensive enforcement and compliance assurance program utilizing the entire spectrum of compliance assurance tools, including but not limited to strategic planning, compliance monitoring, and administrative actions. * Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. * Provide oversight and direction for all managerial, administrative, and programmatic functions of the division, including budgeting and communications. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
