Senior Visual Designer, APAC-Focus

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Visual Designer with regional experience in APAC to join our Marketing & Communications team to help in our mission of creating world class marketing materials and brand experiences. This role is located in New York City, NY or Pittsburgh, PA and is a HYBRID role.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
* Helping to drive and evolve the BNY design direction. Consistently pushing design boundaries, ambitiously seeking to set a new bar for design excellence and creativity on every project, while remaining true to who we are as a brand.
* Utilizing a strategic and rational understanding of how design can solve complex business and brand objectives, while clearly communicating the intent and meaning behind design decisions to colleagues and stakeholders.
* Creating scalable design systems that streamline the production of high-impact campaign assets-allowing the team to focus on more innovative, strategic creative initiatives while maintaining consistent quality and efficiency.
* Collaborating across teams to deliver design solutions that align with our brand and products while resonating with the diverse cultures within APAC.
* Multi-tasking and managing multiple projects at the same time, always acting with urgency and intention, doing whatever it takes to find solutions, meet deadlines, and create successful outcomes.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
* A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. 8+ years of experience in a creative agency or in-house team, designing across all media types and channels with a focus on digital and/or social.
* A modern sense of design style and effortless aesthetic for paired with the ability to distill complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.
* An expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and other standard design tools. Experience with AI for design, photography, illustration or efficiency a plus.
* Experience leading design projects across multiple APAC markets, considering local cultural nuances and sensitivities and market-specific requirements.
* Proficiency in at least one APAC language (e.g., XYZ) is preferred but not required.
* A self-starter with an ambitious and eager approach to work quickly at a larger scale without sacrificing craftsmanship or beauty
* Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $147,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
